Dr.Fawzia,(MD) has strong belief in personal development. Her journey started when she graduated from high school, and then her parent sent her to Egypt for higher education, Fawzia she was wished to be accepted for Art college, but unfortunately her name appeared in Science college admission list. She spent 2 years, but she could not make the success. Hence was the first challenge was either to live with science college or drop out from the college. For her, she decided to drop science with hope to join Art and study her favorite subject psychology..
Upon her arrival to UAE she got a job in international school, and the she thought that it was the best time to
pursue her dream and study psychology, she excelled in her studies despite difficulties she graduated from Art
college (psychology) in 2002. Then got her second certificate of Master of Education in 2012. Then in 2014 she
enrolled her self in Ph.D in Education program she graduated in 2019 with Ph.D in Management Leadership
and Policy.
Dr.Fawzia, she’s also a is a qualified senior professional with over 22 years of experience in GEMS schools managing various aspects of school administration in diverse roles across the organizational hierarchy. Distinguished for optimizing costs and implementing various process improvement initiatives across professional career; exploring challenging senior managerial assignments with a professionally managed organization. Dr.Fawzia also focuses on resolution of students’ academic career, personal and social development needs as well as design & implementation of school counseling program for accomplishing student growth objectives.
In June 2015, Dr.Fawzia is promoted to GEMS Cooperate office to assist Vice-president in GEMS schools Abu Dhabi. Dr.Fawzia resigned from her role on 3rd November 2019 to pursue her dream since she has special passion for education development in developed and developing context.
Dr.Fawzia, also Developed and presented subject-area curriculum and supported teachers on accomplishing course objectives. Designed Social Studies curriculum for Non-Arabs students in year 10 and year 11 Conducted classes on Government, Geography and History, civics ideals and current events as well as U.A.E Citizenship education among foreigner students
